Check the current location before setting off
Detroit Tire Shop serves customers from Corktown through its current operator, Grand River Tires. Follow the Google profile linked on this site for the shop's location. Corktown is a service area, not a separate branch, and no fixed driving time is promised.
If you are bringing a tire rather than the vehicle, call with its size and describe whether it is mounted on a wheel. Confirm the work can be carried out and whether a suitable replacement is available before travelling.
When is the shop open?
Current listed hours: Mon–Sat 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Sun Open 24 hours. Call before visiting to confirm availability, especially outside the usual daytime schedule. A listed opening time does not establish the wait for a particular job.
Describe the problem before choosing a repair
Explain whether the tire loses air, has visible damage or vibrates while driving. Do not assume a tire is repairable from the outside. Ask for the proposed work and total price before authorizing it.
For replacement options, see new tires in Detroit. For a vibration concern, read about tire balancing. Contact the shop with your vehicle and tire details before the trip from Corktown.
